General Background

I have spent my entire career, since 1984, providing advocacy for children in judicial proceedings.

Those many years of experience have seen an evolution of my role as a child advocate. Beginning with over 21 years as a Guardian Ad Litem, mentor, trainer and supervisor, I eventually moved into an evaluative role as a family court counselor with Washington County Family Court Services. I have taken those experiences and for the last several years have provided "Alternative Dispute Resolution" services including Mediation, Parenting Consulting, Parenting Time Expediting and Custody Evaluation. Most recently I completed SENE training and will also be offering those services. As an adjunct to my practice in working with children and families, I have completed Elder Mediation Training and am available to provide these services to families whose loved ones are making those difficult end-of-life decisions.
